While at History Miami Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, I had the enriching task of amplifying Miami's cultural narrative on both a local and international stage. My role was comprehensive: I managed museum communications, spearheaded digital marketing initiatives, and supervised a team of three, in addition to overseeing an external agency. I executed over 20 successful social media takeovers in collaboration with notable organizations like the British Consulate, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the JW Marriott Hotel during my tenure.
I also ventured into influencer marketing, with one of my campaigns, 'Haute History,' generating a significant 28% increase in millennial membership.
Beyond the digital realm, I handled all public relations efforts. In just one year, my team and I garnered an impressive $6.8 million in media coverage. A particular highlight was landing not just one but two features in the Wall Street Journal (a PR girl’s dream)!
